On Thursday we went to cross country. We packed our bags ready to go on the buss to gabrials gully, on the buss it was really loud I felt like i wanted to scream!!! When we finally got to gabrials gully we followed the big kids to where we put our bags. We found a packet of balloons and blew them up then Alawise tied them up and then put some string on the balloons, we all tied them on our bags, I put four balloons on my bag but the pink one popped, I still had three balloons and that was still plenty. Aria had, one, two, three,seven purple balloons all on her bag!!!!!!! I was looking for my Dad I heard his car pulling up, yippey he was finally here!!!! Then we heard Kate telling it was our age group for running. CLAP CLAP CLAP we were off! I ran down by the dragonfly pound I climbed up the big hill YAY i was finished (but i came last) still it was fun! Dad took me and heath home in the car we were home at last!!

ReplyDeleteGreat writing Olive. Good on you for having a great time even though you were last. Why don't you ask Mum to let you get out of the car so you can run up the drive after school every day? That would be good training for next year's cross country so you won't get last! Maybe...
